Baseball Game Preview: Tabernacle Christian Rams vs. Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks

Tabernacle Christian has gone a perfect 7-0 against Shining Light Baptist Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sharks at 4:00 p.m. Shining Light Baptist Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Tabernacle Christian, who comes in off a win.

Tabernacle Christian took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Fayetteville Street Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams skirted past the Patriots 4-2.

Blain Wallace was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Wallace was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Shining Light Baptist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch back in March as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Tabernacle Christian, falling 13-3.

Tabernacle Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Shining Light Baptist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
