Nobody could stop Taliya Dauser on Monday as she struck out 13 batters over eight innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fifth in a row with one or fewer walks. On the season, she has an ERA of 2.56 over 71 innings pitched.

Even though Dauser couldn't lead Sparta over Cedar Springs, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
