Basketball Recap: McLaughlin Comes Up Short

After soaring to 62 points the game before, McLaughlin was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They were outmatched by the Pine Ridge Thorpes and fell 56-23. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Thorpes recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

McLaughlin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pine Ridge, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, McLaughlin and Custer will face off at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played. As for Pine Ridge, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Dupree at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.
