Baseball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers lost a heartbreaker to South Kitsap when they met back in April of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Wednesday. The Rams fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 3-2. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for South Kitsap, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rogers will square off against Bethel at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bison have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.45 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for South Kitsap, they will face off against Olympia at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
