Volleyball Recap: North Pemiscot Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Pemiscot entered their tilt with Cooter on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

North Pemiscot's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brea Stone led the charge by getting eight aces. Those eight aces gave Stone a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cheyanne Sawyer, who had 16 assists and six digs.

They weren't the only good servers: North Pemiscot was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They are 11-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

North Pemiscot's victory bumped their record up to 12-3-1. As for Cooter, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

North Pemiscot has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Delta on the 26th. As for Cooter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Holcomb on the 26th.
