Baseball Recap: Saint Francis Catholic Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Saint Francis Catholic ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Oak Hall Eagles, sneaking past 5-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-6 back in March.

Sander Williams looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Chris Durstine was a standout: he scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Dylan Diaz, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Saint Francis Catholic's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6.
