Lewis & Clark took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Gonzaga Prep, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bullpups on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lewis & Clark got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 25-22, 15-25, 15-10.

Lewis & Clark was led to victory by Lovie Eastep-Harris and McKenzie Kelly. Eastep-Harris had 32 digs and two assists, while Kelly had 17 digs and four aces. Eastep-Harris is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Gonzaga Prep's loss came despite strong showings from Cienna Pierpoint and Camryn Holbert. Pierpoint had 32 digs, while Holbert had 13 digs. Chloe Bruya also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

The victory got Lewis & Clark back to even at 5-5. As for Gonzaga Prep, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 19-1.

Lewis & Clark wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Cheney on the 7th. As for Gonzaga Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Ridgeline on the 7th.
