Wautoma won the last time they faced Lomira and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hornets came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0.

Aspen Groskreutz paced Wautoma's offense, picking up eight kills. Groskreutz got some help from Brynlee Vaughan and her 17 assists. Groskreutz also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Alexis Swanke, racking up two apiece.

Wautoma is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Lomira, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
