It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Smith Valley had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Virginia City Muckers, sneaking past 51-49. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Smith Valley's victory bumped their record up to 27-2. As for Virginia City, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-4.
