Basketball Recap: New Lexington's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

New Lexington won the last time they faced Coshocton, and Chloe Dick did her part to make sure it happened again. The New Lexington Panthers breezed by the Coshocton Redskins to the tune of 62-24 on Saturday thanks in part to Dick, who almost dropped a triple-double on 26 points, nine boards, and nine steals. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in February of 2024.

With the victory, New Lexington broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-10. As for Coshocton, their loss was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15.

New Lexington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-45 defeat against Sheridan on the 29th. Coshocton has also already played their next match, a 48-15 loss against Indian Valley on the 27th.
