Volleyball Game Preview: Centerville Tornadoes vs. Bridgewater/Emery Huskies

Centerville is 0-10 against Bridgewater/Emery since September of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Tornadoes will look to defend their home court against the Huskies at 7:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.

Centerville took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on Colome with a sharp 3-0 win. The Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Cowboys recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Centerville was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-6, 25-12.

Bridgewater/Emery not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 9th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3-0.

While Bridgewater/Emery won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Bridgewater/Emery's win bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Centerville, their victory bumped their record up to 11-15.
