Baseball Recap: Brewbaker Tech Takes a Loss

Brewbaker Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 12-5 to the White Plains Wildcats.

Jamari Thomas was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season. Chris Lewis was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

Even though they lost, Brewbaker Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .441. This was only their first loss (out of four games) when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Brewbaker Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for White Plains, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Brewbaker Tech wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-7 victory against Wellborn on the 19th. As for White Plains, they have also already played their next match, a 7-3 win against Pleasant Valley on the 20th.
