Basketball Recap: Hopewell Valley Central Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs ended up a good deal behind the Bound Brook Crusaders and lost 40-26. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hopewell Valley Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bound Brook, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hopewell Valley Central and Hunterdon Central will round out the year against one another at at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Hopewell Valley Central is facing Hunterdon Central at the right time seeing as Hunterdon Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bound Brook, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Steinert at 11:30 a.m. on January 4, 2025.
