The matchup between Waterbury Career Academy and Kennedy on Friday hardly resembled the 18-8 effort from their previous meeting. The Spartans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eagles 47-19. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Monie Eason was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 148 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.7 yards per carry, and also caught one score. Joshua Myers was another key pass catcher, picking up 131 receiving yards and one TD.

Waterbury Career Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Kennedy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
