York/Pavilion has no trouble against Notre Dame

The York/Pavilion entered their tilt with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. York/Pavilion enjoyed a cozy 28-14 victory over Notre Dame on Friday. 28 seems to be a good number for York/Pavilion as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead York/Pavilion to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Bonefede, who threw for 123 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. Carl Szczech was another key contributor, gaining 126 total yards and two touchdowns.

York/Pavilion's win was their sixth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-9 Geneseo/Mount Morris and 3-7 Notre Dame (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 38.5% over those games). As for Notre Dame, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

York/Pavilion will take on Canisteo-Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Canisteo-Greenwood will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
