If Bluffton was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Jefferson on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tinora Rams on Saturday. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Bluffton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23.

Karlie Lora paced Bluffton's offense, picking up eight kills. Lora got some help from Camryn Fruchey and her 12 assists.
