Soccer Game Preview: Hilton Head Prep vs. Glynn Academy

The Hilton Head Prep Dolphins will face off against the Glynn Academy Terrors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Hilton Head Prep took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Patrick Henry Academy get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. It was an even better day for Courtney Campbell as she scored four goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Glynn Academy hasn't lost a match since February 20th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Evans. Glynn Academy haven't had any issues with Evans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Hilton Head Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five matchups. As for Glynn Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-1.

Hilton Head Prep might still be hurting after the 7-0 defeat they got from Glynn Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2021. Can the Dolphins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
