Hilltop Christian had a senior duo take command as Caleb Manriquez went 6 of 13 on his way to 19 points and four steals and Philip Joyner went 5 for 10 en route to 16 points. Manriquez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Joseph McCabe, who posted six points and six boards.
Meanwhile, Faith Christian Academy took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 63-35 victory over Gramercy Christian. The Conquerors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.
Hilltop Christian better keep an eye on Andrew Kelly. He was instrumental in Faith Christian Academy's win, going 9 of 11 on his way to 23 points. Ibn Triplin was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
