Hillcrest came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jefferson Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-16.

Sophia Peabody-Bergh paced Hillcrest's offense, picking up nine kills. Peabody-Bergh got some help from Anna Albert and her 11 assists. Resse Kim controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Hillcrest's win bumped their record up to 22-11-1. As for Jefferson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14-1 record this season.
