Soccer Game Preview: Wilson Memorial vs. Waynesboro

For the first time this season, Wilson Memorial will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Waynesboro Little Giants at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Wilson Memorial's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Tuesday, Wilson Memorial didn't have quite enough to beat Spotswood and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Waynesboro kept a clean sheet against Stuarts Draft on Tuesday. They blew past the Cougars 8-0. It was an even better day for Gabe Rodriguez as he scored three goals for his team.

Waynesboro now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Wilson Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.
