Basketball Recap: Delta Takes a Loss

Delta lost against Swanton back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Delta Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to the Swanton Bulldogs. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 19-13 in the first quarter.

Delta's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-8. As for Swanton, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-8.

Delta will host Evergreen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Swanton, they will head out on the road to square off against Defiance at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
