Basketball Recap: Laughlin Takes a Loss

Laughlin lost against Lincoln County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Laughlin Cougars had to suffer through a 56-6 loss at the hands of the Lincoln County Lynx. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-4.

AmorA ThomAs was Laughlin's leading scorer, having posted five points. Lucy Braaksma held things down on the boards with three rebounds.

Laughlin now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lincoln County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Laughlin Cougars face off against the White Pine Bobcats at 3:30 p.m. on December 21st. As for Lincoln County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-25 loss against Needles on the 14th.
