Baseball Recap: Glenns Ferry Takes a Loss

Glenns Ferry's last matchup with Challis could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Saturday. The Pilots lost 14-8 to the Vikings. The Pilots' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Bryce Sterling was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Alan Mesillas, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Glenns Ferry's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Challis, their win bumped their record up to 9-5-1.

Glenns Ferry didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-4 loss against Soda Springs on the 12th. As for Challis, they will face off against West Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
