Softball Game Preview: Attica Red Ramblers vs. Seeger Patriots

For the second straight game, Attica will face off against Seeger. The Red Ramblers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Attica is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Attica turned things around against Seeger on Tuesday. They blew past the Patriots 7-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Red Ramblers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Anni Reynolds made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maddie Beck, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Aleah Cruz was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Seeger has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Attica, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
