Battle Mountain skates past Smoky Hill with ease

Recap: Battle Mountain Huskies vs. Smoky Hill Buffaloes
The Battle Mountain Huskies had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their game on the road on Saturday with ease, bagging a 53-18 win over Smoky Hill. The victory was just what Battle Mountain needed coming off of a 65-21 loss in their prior matchup.
Battle Mountain's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anna Glass, who scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Elle Glendining was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 10 rebounds.
Battle Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Smoky Hill, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Battle Mountain will be home for the holidays to greet Middle Park at 5:30 p.m. on December 18th. Smoky Hill is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Hinkley at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th.
