Basketball Recap: Dodson Takes a Loss

Dodson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 63-14 loss at the hands of the West Ouachita Chiefs. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Chiefs are ranked 127th).

Dodson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for West Ouachita, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5.

Dodson will welcome Harrisonburg at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. Dodson is facing Harrisonburg at the right time seeing as Harrisonburg is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for West Ouachita, they will head out on the road to take on Franklin Parish at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th.
