Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Plainview

Plainview hadn't done well against West Holt recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Plainview Pirates walked away with a 55-48 win over the West Holt Huskies. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lincoln Konrad, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 17 rebounds. The match was Konrad's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Drake Nemetz, who posted 13 points and seven boards.

Plainview's record now sits at 10-4. As for West Holt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-3 record this season.

Plainview will challenge Wynot at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Holt has already played their next contest, a 62-47 victory against Boyd County on the 23rd.
