Basketball Recap: Ignatius Beans Comes Up Short

Ignatius Beans lost to Scammon Bay back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Strivers had to suffer through a 79-34 loss at the hands of the Eagles.

Scammon Bay's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Christian Chandler led the charge by putting up 18 points. Another player making a difference was Toby Sundown, who posted 15 points.

Ignatius Beans' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Scammon Bay, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3.

Ignatius Beans does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scammon Bay, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Marshall at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
