Football Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Sky View

Sky View waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Green Canyon Wolves by a score of 30-19. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the 31-28 victory the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sky View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jack Clark, who threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 34 yards. The dominant performance also gave Clark a new career-high in passer rating (150.5). Sky View also got a significant boost from Xander Stokes, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 124 yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Sky View proved: they limited Green Canyon to a paltry 2.8 yards per carry. The team can thank Brett Carling for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sky View's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.8.

Sky View's record now sits at 4-2. As for Green Canyon, they moved to 3-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sky View will face off against Ridgeline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Riverhawks have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
