Soccer Recap: Archbishop Ryan Comes Up Short

If Archbishop Ryan was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Franklin Towne on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders and Ragdolls took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Germantown Academy Patriots on Tuesday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Archbishop Ryan couldn't quite close it out.

Archbishop Ryan now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Germantown Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-0-1.

Archbishop Ryan are facing Lansdale Catholic at the right time seeing as Lansdale Catholic are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Germantown Academy, they will face off against Germantown Friends at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
