Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta won the last time they faced Osakis and Tyson Grove did his part to make sure it happened again. The Tigers walked away with a 66-56 victory over the Silverstreaks on Friday thanks in part to Grove, who went 8-for-13 to rack up 24 points and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta and Osakis will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Tigers see the court they'll take on Sauk Centre at 7:00 p.m. on January 15, 2026. As for Osakis, their break will end when they face Holdingford at 5:45 p.m. on the 18th.
