If Howell was feeling good fresh off their 60-25 takedown of Canton last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Howell Highlanders fell to the Northville Mustangs 49-43. The Highlanders' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Carly Pelon went supernova for Northville, going 8 of 12 on her way to 23 points. The dominant performance gave Pelon a new career-high in points. Peyton Sivier was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Howell's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Northville, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
