Basketball Game Preview: Hanford West Huskies vs. Kerman Lions

Two dominant guards in Donnovan Smith and Daniel Bibioff are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Hanford West Huskies will host the Kerman Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Hanford West was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-49 to Exeter.

Meanwhile, Kerman came up short against Selma on Tuesday and fell 77-69. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (62), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Hanford West dropped their record down to 2-21 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Kerman, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

Hanford West came up short against Kerman in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 80-67. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bibioff, who went 12 of 18 en route to 34 points.
