            Basketball Recap: Canyon View Jaguars vs. Sunrise Mountain Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Canyon View had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. They skirted past the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs  49-47. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Jaguars.
 Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Addison Wiemann, who  dropped  a double-double with 18 points and 15  boards. Wiemann is  on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as she's  now  pulled down nine or more in each of the last five games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Omoye-Ojavan Aguebor, who  went 5-for-8  on her way to 12  points and five  boards.

Canyon View pushed their record up to 22-6 with the  victory, which was their tenth straight  at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.1 points. As for Sunrise Mountain, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 23-6 record  this season.
 Canyon View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  game,  a  58-48  win against Catalina Foothills on the 4th. Sunrise Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
