Softball Recap: Prairie Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Prairie can now relate to. They came up short against the Garfield Bulldogs on Friday, falling 10-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Falcons, who until this match were averaging 3.74 runs allowed.

This is the second loss in a row for Prairie and nudges their season record down to 16-7. As for Garfield, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-6.

As of now, neither Prairie nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
