Football Recap: Clarkston's Run of Nine Straight Victories Now Over + How To Watch

Clarkston and Catholic Central squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Clarkston had to settle for second. They were dealt a 42-13 loss at the hands of the Shamrocks. The Wolves were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 31 points in the six games prior), but the Shamrocks' defense proved too tough.

Catholic Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Duke Banta, who threw for 244 yards and three TDs on only 17 passes. That's the most passing yards Banta has posted since back in September. Cedric Williams handled things on the ground, rushing for 112 yards and a rushing touchdown.
