It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Clarkston can now relate to. They were dealt a 42-13 defeat at the hands of the Catholic Central Shamrocks on Friday. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Wolves, who until this game were averaging 14.5 points allowed.

Catholic Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Duke Banta out in front who threw for 227 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes. Cedric Williams handled things on the ground, rushing for 108 yards and a rushing touchdown.
