Basketball Game Preview: American Christian School vs. Veritas Christian Academy Lions

American Christian School is 0-10 against Veritas Christian Academy since February of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. American Christian School will venture away from home to face off against Veritas Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. American Christian School will be strutting in after a win while Veritas Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.

American Christian School is headed out to face Veritas Christian Academy after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. American Christian School narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Gloucester County Christian 40-38.

American Christian School found their leader in sophomore Holly Cilento, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gianna Enemuo, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.

Meanwhile, Veritas Christian Academy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 43-20 to Emmanuel Christian Academy. The Lions were down 31-8 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Kari Williamson was Veritas Christian Academy's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Elsa Andersen held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.

American Christian School couldn't quite get it done against Veritas Christian Academy when the teams last played back in February as they fell 28-18. Can American Christian School avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
