Baseball Recap: Stuarts Draft Takes a Loss

After flying high against Buffalo Gap on Tuesday, Stuarts Draft came back down to earth. The Cougars fell 6-1 to the Wilson Memorial Hornets on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost five in a row.

Stuarts Draft's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Wilson Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Stuarts Draft will venture away from home to take on Nelson County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wilson Memorial, they will welcome Buffalo Gap at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bison have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
