            Narrows hadn't done well against Auburn recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Wednesday. The Narrows Green Waves had just enough and edged the Auburn Eagles out  56-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Green Waves have posted  since December 22, 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Narrows to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Carter Holmes, who  went 9 of 20  en route to 23  points along with six  rebounds and five  assists. Holmes continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played.  Elijah Knoetze was another key player,  going 7 for 14  to rack up 16 points and seven  boards.
 Narrows  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 11  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive rebounds in three consecutive  games.
