It was a good run, but Whitney Young unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loyola Academy Ramblers. If the Dolphins were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Ramblers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Whitney Young's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Loyola Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-17 record this season.

Whitney Young will take on Taft at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Loyola Academy, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against St. Charles North on the 17th.
