Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Middletown South). Everything went their way against the Wall Township Crimson Knights on Wednesday as the Middletown South Eagles made off with a 62-41 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Crimson Knights are ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Middletown South's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Wall Township, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Middletown South will be playing at home against Toms River North at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wall Township, they will take on Metuchen on February 27th.
