Baseball Recap: Delavan Panthers vs. El Paso-Gridley Titans
Delavan won the last time they faced El Paso-Gridley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Titans 4-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Braden Arrenholz was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
