Basketball Recap: Buckeye Local Takes a Loss

Buckeye Local was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Catholic Central Crusaders, falling 72-45. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-17.

Buckeye Local's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Catholic Central, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buckeye Local and Brooke will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Catholic Central, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bellaire at 6:30 p.m. on December 27th.
