Midview (Grafton, Ohio) and
North Ridgeville (Ohio) both received superb games from their defenses, but Midview was able to break through the stalemate for a 8-0 win.
The Middies scored on a rushing touchdown and a to pull out the win.
Midview was up 6-0 at the half after taking the lead on a
Adam Prechtl touchdown run in the second quarter.
MHS expanded its lead to eight points entering the fourth quarter. The Grafton school scored once in the quarter on a safety.
With the win the Middies extended their winning streak to six games. Midview defeated the Sailors 45-16 last week.
MHS's most effective player was Prechtl. The junior running back ran for one touchdown. He has now scored two touchdowns on the season.
The Middies came into the game allowing 16.6 points per game.
When the two teams played each other last season, Midview came away with a 41-0 victory.
North Ridgeville (1-5) will play a West Shore game against Rocky River next week, while Midview (6-0) will take on Avon also in a West Shore game.
