It was a good run, but Thousand Oaks unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redondo Union Sea Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Thousand Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Redondo Union, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Coincidentally, Thousand Oaks and Redondo Union will both be playing Kennedy the next time they take the court. The Sea Hawks will head out to face the Cougars at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Lancers will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
