Volleyball Recap: Eastern Wayne Starts Season with Loss at Home

Eastern Wayne unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Clinton Dark Horses on Wednesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-15, 25-2.

The win made it two in a row for Clinton and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern Wayne is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Wayne Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clinton, they will face off against Wallace-Rose Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
