Arapahoe extended their home winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Miles McMonigle. The Arapahoe Warriors secured a 52-47 W over the Smoky Hill Buffaloes on Wednesday thanks in part to McMonigle, who went 7-for-14 on his way to 17 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Watson, who posted four points in addition to five boards and three steals. Those three steals gave him a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Smoky Hill still got an impressive performance from Carter Basquez, who put up 17 points and five rebounds. Lorenzo Contreras was another key player, putting up seven points and six assists.

Arapahoe is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. As for Smoky Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Arapahoe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-47 victory against Cherry Creek on the 7th. As for Smoky Hill, they have also already played their next game, a 57-48 win against Grandview on the 7th.
