Baseball Game Preview: Swink Lions vs. Crowley County Chargers

Swink has gone a perfect 10-0 against Crowley County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lions will host the Chargers at 10:00 a.m. Swink is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

Swink is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of Fowler.

Nick Paolucci was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Swink's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crowley County). They blew past Florence 16-1 on Wednesday. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
