Softball Recap: Sprague Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sprague can now relate to. They lost 17-0 to the Jesuit Crusaders on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Olympians in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost three in a row.

Sprague saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Barr, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Sprague's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Jesuit, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Sprague nor Jesuit have any future games scheduled.
